Goodluck 13 was founded by Tracie LeBlanc after more than 23 years working in communications across Canada’s non-profit, government, and academic sectors, including senior communications leadership roles with some of Toronto’s largest social impact organizations.
Over the years, Tracie saw the same challenge again and again. Communications was often a corner-of-the desk responsibility for a fundraiser or frontline staff member already juggling too much. In larger organizations, communications and fundraising frequently operated in silos, despite working toward the same organizational goals.
One thing became clear: the best communications work creates speace for everyone else to do theirs.
That’s why Goodluck 13 exists: to give non-profits access to senior-level communications leadership without the cost of a full-time hire.
